Christopher G. Vaughan, Psy.D.
Dr. Vaughan is a pediatric neuropsychologist who currently practices in Washington, DC and Maryland. He is a member of the Division of Pediatric Neuropsychology at Children's National Medical Center in Washington DC, and he is an Assistant Professor in the Departments of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and Pediatrics at the The George Washington University School of Medicine.
He completed his undergraduate degree at James Madison University and both his master's and doctorate degrees in clinical psychology at Loyola College in Maryland.
He has previously trained at Johns Hopkins University, the Kennedy Krieger Institute, Eastern Virginia Medical School and Children's National Medical Center.
He is a member of the Safe Concussion Outcome, Recovery and Education (SCORE) Clinic at Children's National, where he sees children and adolescents with sports and non-sports related concussion. He is also actively involved in research and is the principle investigator on a project using advanced neuroimaging techniques to better understand the neurobiological correlates of concussions.
He has presented his research at national and international conferences, is a co-author on several book chapters, and has published multiple research articles in scholarly journals.
