Dr Hobart is truly a good Orthopedic Doctor(Surgeon). I arrived about 940am for my 10am appointment. I didn’t wait long. I was taken back aa 1003, X-ray’s on my left and right hip. Met with Dr Hobart whom I can’t say enough good things about. She listened to all my concerns and asked about my meds and was genuinely concerned about my pain issues. We talked about my hip issues and decided on a plan. People I was finished my appointment at 1045am. The staff was rocking and rolling. Very professional and on top of their game. Dr Hobart has worked with helping to reduce pain in both knees. She helped me to avoid or at least delay surgery. But my left knee finally required total knee replacement. As a surgeon, Dr Hobart performed the knee replacement and a subsequent therapy plan. In about two weeks, I was walking and had improved immensely with physical therapy. Dr Hobart is an excellent surgeon. She made the entire process of knee pain avoidance and ultimately, replacement, as pleasant and convenient as possible. Her office staff is efficient and kind. Love Dr. Hobart and her Secretary Ann. I have had to have 4 surgeries and countless stitches do to a complete hamstring tear and an infection in the surgical site. I still currently have stitches. It has been months of hell for me and for Dr. Hobart but Dr. Hobart has been doing everything humanly possible to make sure I heal correctly and completely. As for Ann I don’t know what I would have done without her. She was on top of everything that I needed all the paperwork prescription’s and anything I ask for. She is kind, caring and patient. Dr. Hobart & her staff are some of the kindest & honest doctors I’ve ever seen. She operated on both of my knees, within 6 months of each other. I experienced knee pain after playing golf, went the ortho center to have it looked at. Dr Hobart and the entire team were extremely efficient, I was xrayed, treated with cortisone and on my way in short order. Dr Hobart explained what was going on, treatment options and we proceeded with the injection. I expect to be out on the course early next week. When my knee was giving me pain last year, I was able to get an appointment with Dr. Hobart fairly quickly. Dr. Hobart examined my knee and after recommending an MRI, found out I had a torn meniscus. Dr. Hobart explained everything to me about the surgery I needed and I felt at ease. After the surgery, I healed wonderfully and no pain. Then this year had to get another surgery on my other knee and again healed wonderfully. Dr. Hobart was very pleasant to and cared about my well being. I have referred a friend to Dr. Hobart also. I was new to Dr. Hobart. Seen by her following months of rehab & PT for some residual concerns with my knee subsequent to having been hit by a car. .. Dr Hobart was friendly & engaging while still being very professional. She was detailed & thorough. I was impressed that she actually *listened* and took my comments and concerns seriously and into consideration. That she took the time to do this, fostered a sense of confidence and trust in her fairly quickly. When X-rays were negative, she had me followup with MRI which revealed torn meniscus not previously identified at Hopkins. Additionally, though she is a surgeon, she was not inclined (or in a rush) to recommend surgery. Rather had me continue PT, and offered/suggested cortisone injections for the near term with a followup after 2 months. .. I am spoiled at having an *exceptional* primary care physician and am sometimes disappointed when having to see doctors for other matters. Dr.Hobart In my opinion is a wonderful Orthopedic surgeon.. Her bedside manner is great. She explains everything whether in the office or after surgery Before & After. So you can understand exactly what is going to happen and what to expect.
